This week is about the vast mental storehouse of the Subconscious, which is 90% of our mental life.
I could be wrong, but it seems to me that Charles Haanel was way ahead of his time in the understanding of the human mind, stating that “The Source of all life and all power is from within”
He also went on to say, “The Mind which pervades the body, is largely the result of heredity, which in turn, is simply the result of all the environments of all past generations on the responsive and ever moving life forces”
That being said, it is important to understand that much of this has been received from others, the result of opinions, suggestions and statements; much of it is the result of our own thinking, but nearly all of it has been accepted with little or no examination or consideration.
And it all started when we were in Kindergarden, and first and second grade, when we had no foundation for Truth and what was real.
If I haven’t lost you yet this is where it gets real for me, because I know I don’t ask my 7 year old self to make important decisions for me, and I certainly wouldn’t give a 7 year old the keys to the car and send him into the city. But that is exactly what happens when you don’t examine your thoughts and beliefs.
Haanel wrote, “Power over circumstances is one of it’s fruits, health , harmony, and prosperity are assets upon it’s balance sheet. It offers you poise and peace. It costs you only the labor of studying and harvesting its great resources. It demands no sacrifice, except the loss of your limitations, your servitudes, your weakness.

So the point of all this, besides checking to see if you are still with me, is that our power is from within…but we cannot receive it unless we give it.
We are each of us but the channel through which the Omnipotent power is being differentiated into form; unless we give, the channel is obstructed and we can not receive no more.
The more we give, the more we get.
Thank you – I appreciate you for reading my Post – I look forward to serving you in the near future.
Gratefully,

Scott, yes, the more you give the more you get. Good for you. From your blog rover friend.
